The REQUESTS and the PROMISES of the SACRED HEART

Saint-Laurent-sur-Sèvre:
Chapel of the Daughters of Wisdom. Between
the
6th
and the
20th
of November
1916,
Claire Ferchaud begins a retreat at ‘the Maison
Montfort’, four months before her visit to President
Poincaré.
In the following weeks – on November 26, and
again on December 16, 1916 –
“
Claire is summoned by Our Lord to meet in Paris the
President of the French Republic, Raymond Poincaré, in order
to fulfill at long last the ancient promises contained in
the Message that had been sent by Saint Margaret-Mary to
King Louis XIV, and then relayed by Cardinal Pie to Napoléon
the Third, on behalf of Madame Royer : it consisted in
placing the Image of the Sacred Heart on the French flag,
and more generally on the flags of the Allied nations. As a
reward for this act of faith, France would defeat not only
the traitors destroying her from within, but also the
invading Prussians, and above all « the enemies of our
souls » (sic)”.

In April 1917 :
under the picture of Jesus-Christ, the invocation to Our
Lord, both in French and in Latin: « Heart of Jesus,
bruised by our sins, have mercy on us/
Cor Jesu attritum per scelera nostra, miserere nobis.
On the back of the picture one can read the Prayer of
Consecration of the allied armies to The Sacred Heart,
having received ~ as early as the year 1917! ~ the
Imprimatur of Mgr Louis Humbrecht. |
Solemn Promises of the Bruised Heart of Our Lord
For
all souls, in general:
***
I have come to show Myself to you, especially for
sinners. I promise to grant the wishes of all souls who pray to Me
for their lost brothers, by bringing these souls back to their
duties.
On those sinners, who, without contrition, kneel
before the picture of My Broken Heart, My Grace will work with such
great power that they will arise converted.
A mere look from Me on the indifferent will touch
their hearts and inflame them with zeal to practise good works. I
want this Image to be spread all over the world. I will shower many
blessings wherever it is honoured.
I am speaking especially to priests; I want them
to form a crown of twelve stars around My Heart, for which, I will
choose twelve priests ~ victims, who will console Me.
I ask priests to spread this picture everywhere
they go, and, wherever they make known My Martyred Heart, I will
make their ministry fruitful, and will bless the slightest word they
say in My Name.
If they meet hardened souls, let them pray to My
Sacred Heart, and these will be converted.
If some refuse to believe in the truths of
religion, let the picture of My Crushed Heart be slipped secretly
into their houses. It will work miracles of grace in sudden and
supernatural conversions.
I will pardon the faults of those who lovingly
kiss the picture of My Crushed Heart, even before absolution.
I will attract hearts to Me by this devotion. I
will raise them to the highest perfection. I will bring numerous
priestly vocations, and there will be holy priests, by virtue of
this Torn Heart.
Finally, I will be their consolation at the hour
of death: souls who have honoured Me through this Crushed Heart will
give their last breath in the highest transports of love.
Sinners will give a sign of repentance at the
last moment, when the picture is shown to them: it will be the only
thing that they cannot refuse. Just one look…just one act of love
and a request for forgiveness towards this picture will be enough
for Me to open Heaven to this soul, who must appear before Me at the
final hour.
And Jesus concludes:
I have come for sinners, for those who have died,
in order to give them life. I want to renew the world by this
Heart, covered with wounds. I have come, not to bring terror among
you:
I am the God of Love; the God Who forgives, and
wants to save you all.
Jesus addresses each individual soul:
And you,
will you console Me for the forgetfulness of your brother? Love Me
for him, so that I may pardon everyone. Could I have done more
for you than I have done? Love is stronger than death. Love! It
is the redemption which will save the universe.
Prayer to the Bruised Heart of Jesus

O Heart of Jesus, crushed by our sins, Heart saddened and afflicted
because of so much crime and offence,
- Heart of Jesus, Victim of all iniquities, I love Thee with all my
soul and above all else.

I love Thee for all those who despise and abandon Thee I love Thee
for all those who outrage Thee, and prevent Thee from ruling in all
hearts.

I love Thee for all those who ignore Thee and leave Thee all alone
in the Holy Eucharist.
-
I love Thee for all those ungrateful souls who dare to desecrate Thy
Sacrament of Love, by their insults and by their sacrileges.

Heart of Jesus pardon poor sinners; they know not what they do!
-
Heart of Jesus, defend and support all who make known Thy Holy Name!

Heart of Jesus, uphold all those who suffer woes and trials!
-
Heart of Jesus, let society be completely inspired by Thy Holy
Gospel, the sole protector of justice and peace!

Heart of Jesus, may all families and nations proclaim and
acknowledge Thy Rights!

Heart of Jesus, reign over my homeland!

Heart of Jesus, may Thy reign come through the Immaculate Heart of
Mary!

WHERE
and
WHY
the
PERPETUAL
MASS,
and the URGENT NEED for its CELEBRATION.
This Fresco
representing the Lamb and Saint John, is situated on the left side
of the Altar where priests are wont to read the Gospel,
in the Chapel of the Sacred Heart in Loublande.

« The Gates of Hell shall not prevail. The LAMB shall be KING. »
The vertical Light signifying the eschatological Triumph of the Lamb
in the End Times,
and the Site where it shall be manifested.
The Evangelist and Visionary Author from the Isle of Patmos, Is
recognizable here:
The
man who wrote ’The Apocalypse’, The Last Book of the Biblical
Revelation.
Particularly striking is the blending of two themes within the frame
of one pictorial representation:

over the highest hill at ‘Rinfillières’ -
the very place
where the future Basilica shall be erected, comprising the Four
Altars of the Perpetual Mass:
This will be the Final Act, the Sealing Gift of the Lord’s
Redemptive Work,
before the Hour of the Last Judgment.
“… In our time of perversion, of monstrous atheism ~
publicly claimed by both the individuals and the nations ~, the
sacrifices of generous souls, the acts of devotion, the great number
of good works seem inadequate to stem the flood of Evil, rectify
people’s judgment, quench the flames of hatred and bring down on the
peoples the grace of forgiveness together with the peace of God. It
is not just one part of the globe which is affected, it is the
entire surface of the Earth, awash with an ocean of Pride, that
defies its Creator and Sovereign Lord.
“Therefore,
it is on behalf of the Universe that an Altar, in a very distinct
place,
would unceasingly offer up to the Father, Eternal God, the One very
Holy,
Unique and efficacious Sacrifice of the sinless Lamb, the sublime
worship,
the deep-felt thanksgiving, the absolute atonement, the irresistible
Supplication.

Divine Sacrifice, which is at once the focus and the bond of a
religiously inspired life, of every action intended for Our Lord, of
every way of preaching, of every family, of every human life, so
that the August Trinity may Eye the Earth only through this Divinely
set Crucible where miserable acts of virtue are changed into the
Love of a God offered to God”

come.
“ You
want me there, Jesus, in the stillness of those 3 hours,
hovering like centuries over Your Cross.
“You
want me there, Jesus, present in Your mind burning feverishly for
all the crimes
rising from below, that are seething and stifling every breath of
Your agony.
“You
want me there, Jesus, present in Your Heart thirsting for Love…
abandoned by Your Father’s silence.
“ You
want me there, Jesus, present in those last 3 hours gathering
and enfolding in themselves the THREE AGES of TIME.

want me to be the one needed in the sum total of expiations demanded
by the Holy Justice of Your Father for a full remittance of the debt
due to sin.
